Alesia M. Chaney, Founder & CEO of AMC Tours and Travel

Alesia M. Chaney’s journey to founding AMC Tours and Travel in 2024 is a testament to her passion for creating unique, judgment-free spaces and experiences where people can connect, unwind, and explore.

Her vision was sparked six years prior during a trip to San Diego, where she encountered a charter tour bus offering guests the freedom to embrace the 420 culture while sightseeing through the city’s historic landmarks.

Inspired by this groundbreaking concept, Alesia began a journey of research and discovery to bring something similar—and even more impactful—to life in Ohio.

Her quest led her to Denver in 2021, where she immersed herself in the vibrant atmosphere of a cannabis-friendly party bus tour. This eye-opening experience revealed a hidden desire among professionals and enthusiasts to enjoy 420-friendly activities in a safe, welcoming environment. It was in that moment that Alesia’s vision crystallized: to create a luxurious, inclusive space that combined themed events, adventure, and relaxation.

Driven by her entrepreneurial spirit and a deep understanding of people, Alesia leaned into her extensive education and leadership experience. She holds a BA in Psychology, an MA in Organizational Management, certifications in Project Management, and a wealth of expertise in leadership and self-development coaching.

These credentials, coupled with her fearless determination, allowed her to navigate the challenges of launching a business in an industry often clouded by stigma.

Alesia also drew inspiration from similar businesses, including party bus operations in Alabama, L.A. California, and Denver, Colorado, which solidified her belief in the power of combining innovation with human connection. With AMC Tours and Travel, she has seamlessly curated a fusion of themed mobile experiences with very unique names—from 420-friendly events to fine dining excursions and winery tours—that redefine how people socialize and explore.

Under Alesia’s leadership, AMC Tours and Travel has become Ohio’s first themed mobile entertainment tour company, paving the way for a new standard of luxury and inclusivity.
